Note: Only labs in the US can buy from Quartzy. If you would like to access this feature, please email support@quartzy.com.
Quartzy is already in the purchasing system at University of North Carolina, UNC Asheville! After accepting a quote or requesting an item from the Quartzy Shop, follow the instructions for purchasing the item/s with Bulldog Buyways.
1. Make sure the preferred payment method for your Lab is Other.
2. Click on the cart icon in the top right of the toolbar to view pending orders.
3. Login to Bulldog Buyways.
4. To comply to state requirements, a contracted vendor quote will need to be provided along with your order from Quartzy. This can be obtained within Bulldog Buyways by searching for the item and collecting a screenshot of the contracted vendor's pricing. You'll attach this within the requisition in step 7.
5. To enter your Quartzy order, Go to: Non-catalog item.
6. Under Existing Supplier, search for Quartzy Inc.
Complete the fields with all the Request details. Include the Quartzy item quote number (starts with EQ) in the description field along with the item description. Click, Save.
If purchasing multiple items, choose Save and Add Another to continue adding items.
7. In the Internal Notes and Attachments section, attach the quote or screenshot from the contracted vendor. You can attach the Quartzy PDF quote if requesting multiple items.
8. Complete the requisition form with relevant approvers and accounts for your purchase and submit the order.
9. Once Quartzy receives the purchase order (sent to orders@quartzy.com), your order will be placed and the PO number will be added directly to the item in your Quartzy account.
