Keeping your lab's Inventory up to date can be a hard job, but not with Quartzy! The Lab Admin can choose to allow everyone in the Lab to edit the Inventory so your lab can work together to keep things updated.
1. From the Inventory module, click on the name of the item you want to edit.
2a. Find the section you'd like to edit and click the Edit option in the upper right corner.
2b. To edit an instance, find the instance you'd like to edit in the Item Instance Details section, click Actions, and select Edit Instance.
Sections include Item, Item Instance Details, Item Details, Safety Details, Vendor Information, and History.
3. Make any edits in the section and click Save Changes.
In the Item section, the Unit Size field is customizable, whereas the Stock Units is selected from a dropdown menu.
Note: At this time, the Unit Size for items with Quartzy as the vendor cannot be edited.
Example: 7 bottles are in stock. Each bottle is 1 L.
