Remove members from a Quartzy Lab

When someone graduates and/or leaves the lab, you may want to remove their access to your Quartzy Lab. Follow the instructions below showing how Admins can remove Members.

Important: Removing a user from a Lab does not remove them from their seat in the Organization. An Org Admin must remove the user from the Organization as well in order to free up that user's seat. Here's how: Manage Organization Users.

1. On the top left side of the toolbar, click on the Org Name or the Lab name and then click the gear icon for the lab where you want to make changes.

2. Select the Lab on the left sidebar and choose the Members tab.

3. Lab members are listed alphabetically by their first name. Hover over the row for the member you want to remove and click the X to the far right.

4. If you are not an Organization Admin, you will be able to remove users from the Lab but not the Organization. In the pop-up confirmation box, click Remove.

If you are an Organization Admin, you will be able to select whether to remove users from the Lab only or both the Lab and the Organization to free up a seat. In the pop-up confirmation box, select an option and then click Remove.
