Note: Backup settings are specific to your user account, so backup files will be sent to the email address you log in to Quartzy with.

Available Reports and Their Benefits
Last Month’s Spend Report
This report provides a comprehensive summary of all your lab’s purchases from the previous month. It’s an essential tool for managing budgets, tracking trends, and ensuring all orders are accounted for.
Reconciliation Report
Specifically designed to streamline your accounting workflows, this report filters data based on “received” dates. Use it to align your purchase orders, invoices, and goods received for easy, accurate 3-way matching.
Inventory Backup
Select to have Inventory backups emailed to you on a weekly or monthly basis so you always have a version saved outside Quartzy in case you want to restore the Inventory to a previous version.
How to Set Up Your Reports
1. Access your Lab Settings:
- Click on your Org Name or Lab Name in the top-left corner of the toolbar.
- Click the gear icon to select the lab you want to configure.
2. Navigate to the Backups Tab:
- Select the Lab you want to receive backups for and choose the Backups tab.
3. Configure your report preferences:

Choose your preferred delivery frequency for each report type:
- Last Month’s Spend Report: provides a summary of all requests added to the lab in the previous month

Reconciliation Report: Includes the same content as the Spend Report, but filters data based on “received” dates to assist with reconciliation and 3-way matching.
- Select a Monthly or Weekly frequency
