Many labs need to associate certain documents, such as quotes, packing slips, etc, with their Requests. You can easily attach these files to your requests in Quartzy!
Attach files to an existing request
1. From the Requests module, click on the name of the request to which you'd like to attach your file.
2. In the detail panel that opens, click Upload Files to select and attach your file.
Note: Each file size is limited to 25MB. The accepted file types are: ab1, ape, avi, bmp, clc, dll, dna, doc, docm, docx, eml, fas, fasta, gb, gbk, gif, htm, html, hwp, jpeg, jpg, msg, nucl, pdf, pdw, png, ppt, pptx, psd, qgd, ris, rtf, sbd, seq, str, tif, txt, xdna, xls, xlsm, xlsx, zip
3. Select the file type, then click Upload Document to attach the file. To add an additional file, click + Add Document, or to attach the file(s), click Attach Documents.
Once uploaded, your file(s) will be displayed as the file name, located beneath the Notes section.
Attach files to a new request
1. From the Requests module, click Add Request.
2. Enter a general search term (product name, manufacturer #, CAS #, etc.), search for a specific item using the Vendor + Catalog Number, or click Skip Lookup.
3. Click Add Details to enter information or to attach a file to the request.
4. Click Upload File.
Once uploaded, your file(s) will be displayed as the file name, located beneath the Notes section.
