What is 1-Click Purchasing?
1-Click Purchasing is a Quartzy-branded browser extension that automates the creation of purchase requests (PRs). Instead of manually re-entering every catalog number, item name, and price into your university's system, the extension "mimics" your actions—automatically clicking and typing the data for you.

How to Get Started
1. Install the Extension
Visit the Chrome Web Store to download and install the official Quartzy 1-Click Purchasing extension.
2. Using the Extension
Once installed, follow these steps to place your next order:
Navigate to your Quartzy Cart: Ensure you have items ready for checkout.

Click "Create PR": Look for the new button in your Quartzy cart.
Launch Your Purchasing System: The extension will automatically open your university's procurement system (e.g., Jaggaer, PeopleSoft) in a new tab.
Login: If you aren't already logged in, the extension will pause and wait for you to authenticate.

Auto-Creation: Once logged in, the extension will navigate to the PR page and begin populating all line items from your Quartzy cart.
Review & Submit: For security and accuracy, the extension will not submit the order for you. You must review and submit the final PR in your university system.

Close the Loop: Return to your Quartzy cart, paste in the newly generated Requisition Number, and click "Mark Ordered" to update your Quartzy records.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which browsers are supported? The extension is currently supported on Chrome and Firefox, as well as most Chromium-based browsers.
Is the extension safe to install? Yes. The extension does not modify your purchasing system or your computer. It simply acts as a "helper" that performs the same clicks and typing you would do manually.
Will it submit orders without my permission? Never. You always have the final say. The automation handles the data entry, but you must manually review and hit the "Submit" button within your procurement system.
What does it cost? The 1-Click Purchasing extension is a free tool provided by Quartzy to improve your ordering experience.
