Understanding New Tariff Surcharges in Your Cart

You may see a temporary surcharge on certain items due to increases in import costs and tariffs. This surcharge allows us to adapt quickly to the evolving policy environment. We recognize these added costs are not a welcome development, and we are working with our suppliers to minimize their impact as much as possible. 

If there’s a charge we just can’t avoid, it will show up in your cart under Shipping and Handling Details — and we’ll always be transparent about where it’s coming from and why. We're monitoring these changes daily and will keep rolling back charges whenever possible.

How to Identify Surcharges:

  • Go to your Cart

  • See the Tariff Surcharges line item in the Order Summary
  • For more details, click See Shipping & Handling Details underneath the Order Summary

  • Any applicable surcharges will be broken down by manufacturer in the S&H Details modal

Step-by-Step Breakdown:

1. Add an item to your cart by accepting a quote or adding a request from the Quartzy Shop.

2. Click on the cart icon on the top right side of the menu bar:

3. In the cart:

  • Any Tariff Surcharges will be displayed as their own line item in the Order Summary.

  • Click See Shipping & Handling Details for an itemized breakdown of each fee.
