You can easily add new Types and Custom Inventory Fields directly on the Quartzy Excel Template!
The template for importing your inventory has one worksheet for each Type. Each worksheet has columns based on the Fields associated with that Type.
1. Adding Custom Inventory Fields
Add new Custom Inventory Fields to an existing Type by naming column headers to the right of the existing ones. Say you want to add a field for 'Lot #' to your Chemical Type, but you forgot to do that when you were customizing your Types and Fields. Just add it to the Chemical worksheet!
2. Adding Types
Add another worksheet and name it. Then copy all of the Standard Fields from one of the other worksheets so your data fits into the fields that already exist in Quartzy. Then feel free to add any other custom inventory fields you want.
