View audit and consumption reports with Inventory Reporting

The Audit Report expands on the individual item audit trail by providing a single, consolidated report of all tracked updates across your lab's entire inventory. This is useful when you need to review all activity for multiple items within a specific timeframe. Instead of downloading individual audit trails for each item, you can now view all of this activity in one comprehensive report.

Detailed Consumption Report

This report provides data for labs that need to closely track their usage patterns for forecasting and ordering.

The Detailed Consumption Report offers a consolidated view of all events that change the quantity of an inventory item. For example, the creation of an item or any manual change to the quantity in stock will be captured in this report. This is useful when you need to see a detailed log of all creation, restock, and consumption events for several items over a specific period in your lab.

Note: Currently, archiving an item is not tracked as an event in this report.

Summary Consumption Report

This report offers a quick, at-a-glance view for lab managers who need to understand overall consumption trends without getting lost in the details.

The Summary Consumption Report provides a high-level overview of quantity changes by showing aggregated totals for each inventory item, unlike the Detailed Consumption Report, which lists every individual update. For each item with a quantity change in the selected date range, the report will show:

  • Beginning Quantity
  • Total Quantity Consumed
  • Total Quantity Restocked (Added)
  • Ending Quantity

This is particularly useful when a lab needs a quick summary of how much of each inventory item was used and restocked over a period of time.
