Recurring Requests are repeat orders set up for frequently ordered items in the Quartzy Shop. Once configured, the items in a Recurring Request are ordered automatically according to the quantity and ordering frequency set up by a lab admin.
Recurring Requests Benefits include:
- Ability to identify certain ordering behaviors in advance to further improve your lab's budget planning, inventory space requirements, usage, and allocation
- Quartzy inventory prioritization for items part of Recurring Requests
Important Notes:
- Currently, only items available from one of Quartzy's Fulfillment Centers are eligible for a Recurring Request
- Recurring Requests are not available for labs using Quartzy's Punchout Integration
- Only a lab Admin can set up a Recurring Request

Setting up Recurring Requests
1. Request the item directly from Quartzy Shop search results or the product page
Tip: Look for the "Ships from Quartzy" Logo
2. Select the option for Recurring Requests and all remaining fields of the Request form
Additional required fields for Recurring Requests include:
- Delivery Frequency: current available options include Weekly or Monthly
- End Recurring Requests After Number of Deliveries: specify the number of orders you would like to receive as a Recurring Request
3. Click Add Request
4. When you're ready to place an order, add the Recurring Request to your cart
Tip: If your lab has an Approval Workflow, the request will need to be Approved first
Once the cart has been checked out, your first occurrence of the Recurring Request is officially in progress!
Like all purchases made from the Quartzy Shop, an e-mail order confirmation will be issued once the order is placed. You'll be able to see details and status updates under the 'Ordered' tab in your Requests module and can expect an email with tracking information once shipped.
- For all orders in a Recurring Request, you will also receive an email prior to order placement reminding you about the upcoming order:
Managing Recurring Requests
- View ALL Recurring Requests
- Navigate to the Shop menu and select the menu item View Recurring Requests where you can view all current and existing Recurring Requests
- View details of a specific Recurring Request
- From the Recurring Request page, select any request to view request history including order date and status of any requests completed, in progress or upcoming

- To cancel a Recurring Request, simply use the Cancel Request button in the row specific to the Recurring Request
